2017 Conference in Review

On March 27-28, 2017, the Louisiana Association of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America met on the beautiful Louisiana Tech Campus in Ruston, Louisiana for the annual State Leadership Conference. Nearly 400 members experienced the Red Jacket Event while exploring the campus, attending leadership workshops, competing in competitive events, and networking with members from across the state.

Our guest speaker, Mr. A.J. Adams, inspired students as he shared his story while encouraging us to write ours. STAR Event Participants competed for the chance to be recognized for their hard work and a chance to compete on the national level.

Members were also given the opportunity to attend a fun session at the Intramural Center, which included dancing, rock-climbing, karaoke, swimming, pool, basketball, and many other activities. We closed out our meeting as we bid farewell to the 2016-2017 State Executive Council and welcomed our new leadership.

We invite you to sit back, relax, and watch as members experience The Red Jacket Event in the Conference In Review!
